As every website is bespoke, costing is worked out after the initial assessment where I clearly identify your needs and budget. My prices are very fair and competitive, starting at £1,200 for a simple site. The price is fixed unless you’d like to have additional services not specified in the initial costing.
Basically everything! Setting up your hosting, design, sourcing of images, SEO. Everything will be specified in your costing and there won’t be any hidden extras.
Yes! Based on your brief I’ll put together different ideas for a homepage – usually 2 or 3 options that you can choose from, or even combine elements, creating a design concept that you are 100% happy with.
All images are royalty-free and my contracts with several stockphoto providers allow me to source beautiful and very specific images at competitive prices that will be added on to the total once we know how many images are required.
Yes, I can take the content and give it a new design. However, it is sometimes easier to create a new website from scratch – this will ensure there is clean coding and no unforeseen issues relating to the original website emerge.
Some templates are very good and competitively priced – however not very flexible terms of design and never compare to a professionally designed site. I don’t work with templates as it is a lot more difficult to change someone else’s programming code rather than designing from scratch. I have a few clients who started off with a template and asked for my help when it proved to be too time consuming and complicated to amend.
Yes! I can design a new logo from scratch as well as creating business cards and letterheads. The logo is part of the website design and I can either work with an existing logo or create a whole new story!
Yes, and I believe it is an integral part of a successful website. Regular updates ensure that everything is functioning smoothly and are important for search engine visibility. If you want to upload new content, I’m very happy to include this in your maintenance package.
Search Engine Optimisation is an integral part of webdesign and all content is designed according to the latest guidelines. You can expect to see your site on the first page searching by your company’s name and services. Going further, there are also companies who specialise in website monitoring, analysing web traffic and constantly adjusting content accordingly.
On average, around 6 weeks from the time a design is agreed until the site goes live. I prefer working on one new website at a time so my focus is entirely on one project.
I allow 4 weeks to address any browser related issues and small amendments. Any technical issue will be sorted out free of charge even if they occur later. If more support is required, I will give you a quote for a maintenance package that will ensure everything remains up-to-date.
